Connect a new official number
Use this path for a number not yet used in WhatsApp. To keep an existing WhatsApp Business phone app, see Keep WhatsApp Business on the phone. For an official number at another provider, see Number at another provider.
Prepare access to the company’s Meta business portfolio, a company display name and a number that can receive an SMS or voice verification code. The line for this number should already appear in Channels.
Dialogs → Channels → your line → Reconnect → Reconnect via Facebook
- Open Meta from the intended line. Sign in with an account that can manage the company’s business portfolio.
- Select the business portfolio, then select or create a WhatsApp account. Enter this line’s number.
- Verify the number using the method Meta offers and finish the wizard. Check the line status when you return to Dialogs.
- Send a message from another phone and reply in Dialogs.
To work in Bitrix24, then connect the number to the TehProf.kz Dialogs — WABA tile in Contact Center.
If Meta says the number is already in use, stop setup and arrange the transition with TehProf.kz. If the wizard fails, send support the error text, number and portal address. Keep verification codes and passwords private.
