Accepting documents at sign-in: who accepts what

At sign-in Dialogs may show the window “One last step before you start”. It appears at your first sign-in and when a document changes. It cannot be closed: the cabinet opens once you tick the box and press “Continue”. If you are not ready to accept, there is a “Sign out” button. Read the documents themselves through the links: they are not retold here.

Who accepts what

  • An owner or administrator ticks one box, “I accept the terms of the public offer”; “public offer” in it links to the document. Under the tick is one line: what the offer includes (the licence agreement, the data processing terms, the acceptable use rules and the privacy policy, each a link), that you accept it on behalf of the company and are entitled to do so and, at the first sign-in, that the same tick is your consent to the processing of your personal data.
  • Registration works the same way: one box “I accept the terms of the public offer” and under it one line about what the offer includes and about consent to personal data processing.
  • An ordinary employee ticks “I consent to the processing of my personal data and accept the privacy policy”. They do not see the company documents. Without consent to personal data processing the cabinet is unavailable.
  • Once the owner or an administrator has accepted for the company, the company documents are not shown again to the other employees.
  • If you were let into a cabinet through access given for contacting support, you do not need to accept for the company.

It says only the owner or an administrator can accept the documents for the company

That means the offer must be accepted for the company by a person with that role. Ask the owner or an administrator to sign in: once they accept, you are left with your own tick about personal data only.

Withdrawing consent to personal data processing

You can withdraw consent in your profile: Settings → Profile → “Sign-in and security”. The line “Consent to personal data processing” shows “Given” or “Withdrawn”, with the button “Withdraw consent” next to it. Dialogs asks “Withdraw consent?” and warns you: after withdrawal the acceptance window opens, and until you give consent again you cannot use the cabinet.

No separate confirmation before an action

The accepted offer already covers connecting WhatsApp by QR code, call recording, AI transcription and hints, mailings and importing contacts. So there is no separate window before these actions: a line is connected on the Channels page, and recording and AI are turned on and off in the line settings as ordinary switches.

A call was not recorded

If the call says “This call was not recorded: the recording terms had not been accepted at the time of the call.”, it took place before recording applied to the company. Such recordings do not appear later either: recording applies only to calls that ended after that. New calls are recorded when call handling is on for the line.
