Signing in from amoCRM: what you confirm and why Briefly From the amoCRM window you are signed in as a CRM employee: the CRM manages sign-in. An email or phone from the CRM opens the cabinet only after a code that arrived on exactly that address. You can confirm the address in the CRM window too: Settings → Profile, the “Confirm” button. The code goes to the address itself. When you open Dialogs inside amoCRM, the system knows you by your CRM record. Your profile then says “Signed in from your CRM — the CRM manages sign-in”. That is convenient, but it is a sign-in through the CRM, not a key of your own to the cabinet.
The email and phone listed for you in amoCRM are kept in Dialogs as facts about you. You cannot sign in with them right away: a wrong or outdated address in a CRM must not open anyone's card. An address becomes a sign-in method when you enter a code that arrived on that very address.
Step 1. Open your profile Open Settings → Profile. You can do it right in the CRM window or in the cabinet in a normal browser. Next to the address from the CRM press “Confirm”, then “Get a code”. Details — how to confirm or change an address .
Step 2. Enter the code The code goes to the address itself: 8 digits to an email, 6 to a phone in WhatsApp or Telegram. Enter it in the “Code” field and press “Confirm”. If the address is listed in several companies, choose yours: the address will be tied to that one only. The code did not arrive or has expired — what to do .
Step 3. Check your profile Open Settings → Profile → “Sign-in and security”. A confirmed address is marked “Confirmed”. An unconfirmed address is marked “Not confirmed” and “From: amoCRM”. Press “Confirm” if you want it to become a sign-in method. Can I confirm an address right in the amoCRM window? Yes. In a CRM window the CRM still manages sign-in, but the address can be confirmed: Settings → Profile, the “Confirm” button (or the “Change” pencil to change the address). The code goes to the address itself. Details — how to confirm or change an address .
My address is in amoCRM. Why did the cabinet not open by itself? An address from the CRM only says who you are. It becomes a key after a code that arrived on that address. This way a wrong address in a CRM cannot let anyone into your card.
Why am I asked to accept documents when signing in? On your first sign-in, or when a document changes, sign-in asks you to accept documents. Without that the cabinet does not open. Who accepts what is in the article “Accepting documents ”.
What happens when an employee is removed from amoCRM is in automatic access check .
